Remember when Friendster went out of their way to keep users from doing things like adding as many friends as you want, deleting faksters, and not having customizable page layouts? Once everyone discovered MySpace, they all left in droves, and MySpace crushed Friendster in number of users within a couple months. This could happen again. Lets hope it does, because News Corp is inherently evil. The filter is taking out any new refrences to YouTube or tinyurl at this time. If they took out the old ones many people would have big blank spots in their comments. The whole thing that was cool about myspace was being able to customize stuff. If I wanted to put vids that I liked on my myspace page I shouldn't have to ask fox/news if its ok with them. Even if I just write revver.com -- +3 Excellent +2 Insightful +1 Useful Rate Comment -1 Off Topic -2 Flame -3 SPAM [block/report] this is important. myspace is supposed to be a personal forum! now it’s owned by some corporation and it’s being censored! the beauty of it has been ruined. and don’t they know they are turning people off of myspace. by preventing people from presenting videos from the sites of thier choice, such as revver.com and youtube, they are forcing people to find a place that allows them the freedom to choose for themselves. better wise up myspace or you’re going to loose a good portion of your subscribers.
