? Thomas' Image Help V1 (reborn, mix2, BETA) Menu Myspace Editor Thomas' Image Help Help Forum Links Comming Soon... Content Generator Thomas' Image Help V1 (reborn, mix2, BETA) Welcome to Thomas' Image Help! Here I'll help you add images to websites, forums, profiles and other pages on the net. Much thanks to ImageShack for hosting the images! They're great. Please Donate to ImageShack to keep this valuable resource alive! This is a BETA version. It's V1 [July sixteenth, 2005:197:15:01:30] Upload your pictures If you would like to upload your own photos, please start here. Just hit "browse", find the picture you want to upload, then click "upload". A window will pop up with several codes, we'll call that the "Code Page". I'll explain how to use those codes below. Backgrounds If you're planning on using the image as a background in Thomas' Myspace Editor, Copy (ctrl-c) The "DIRECT link to image" from the code page, and paste (ctrl-v) that code into the "background image URL" section of Thomas' Myspace Editor. Thumbnails If you want to show a regular image in a page, not as a background, try the "Thumbnails for websites" code. It will make a thumbnail of the picture that people can click on to see the full image. The thumbnail is a good size, so it won't take up the whole page. People can rate the picture too, after they see the full size version. Note that the "Thumbnails for websites" code will only work in places that allow HTML, like Myspace and many other profile sites. Some forums don't allow HTML, but do accept a special code for posting pictures. If you're posting on such a forum, try using one of the "Forum" codes. The picture will show up in the same place that the code is pasted. Sharing If you just want to show the picture to friends over email or Instant Message, I suggest using the "Show image to friends" code. From there, people will be able to see the full picture, download it and even rate it. In codes In almost all image-related codes, you'll need to use the URL (aka address, src or link) of the image in the code. If you want to use your image in a code like that, you definately need to use the "DIRECT link to image" code. Happy? Many people have trouble posting images. If you WERE one of those people, but not anymore, I'm glad to have helped! Please help me to help other people! I would really appreciate it if you would put one of the following codes in your profile to help spread the word about Thomas' Image Help. On a profile or website: Learn to post images with <A href="http://www.strikefile.com/myspace/imagehelp.htm" target="_blank">Thomas' Image Help</A>! Ames and I would eradicate the entire world of popcorn ceilings if we could. For now though, we’re just planning on tackling the entire house. We only moved in about two weeks ago, but we’ve already cleared the curds from the office, guest bedroom and our master bedroom. Through our experiences so far, and the little bit of preparatory research we did before getting started, I think we’ve got a pretty good method established for removing the corn. Last year when your best friend called in tears after the Blue Screen of Death ate her thesis? Yeah, I thought so. Hard drives fail. It’s a fact of computing life. It’s not a matter of whether or not your computer’s disk will fry, it’s a matter of when. The question is how much it will disrupt your life. Don’t expect yourself to remember to back up your data, or stack your closet full of burned CD’s or DVD’s. Today we’re going to set up automated nightly, weekly, monthly local and off-site backups for your PC using free software. Each month of this year develop one new habit. Make it simple and doable. At the end of each month decide on a new “habit” for the next month and continue doing the existing habit. At the end of the year 12 habits will be developed. All of these habits will be written down and be simple enough that I can verify if they have been done. Experts say that most actions take at least 21 days to become “habits” so a month should be ample time for it to become routine. The key to developing new habits is to make them trackable actions. For example, instead of resolving to “drink more water,” John says he started drinking two quarts of water a day - a specific and measurable goal. 12 Habits in 2006 [Success Begins Today] ( comment on this post ) Zoho Writer online word processor READ MORE: File sharing , Top , WYSIWYG , Web as Desktop , Word Processor Web service Zoho Writer is an online word processor that edits, stores and shares your documents from anywhere. They say there's nothing new in fashion and it's true.. styles constantly repeat themselves. Even today's hip-hop style has been done before. Saggy pants? Done in 16th century France during the 'sansbelt' period. Heavy gold and diamond jewelry? The Spanish conquistadors were there first. Doo rags?, hats on sideways? Pirates have been there, done that. Heck, I bet even the old carriages had spinners on their wheels. The rules of this contest are thus: show us today's big bling, hip culture as seen thru the eyes of yesteryear's classic artists. Have fun, be creative!, keep it clean, follow the guidelines please, be careful to avoid using cliches . You have 48 hours to submit so make them sparkle! Edit MySpace
MySpaceTweaks.com - MySpace Profile Editor, Custom Contact Box, Custom Extended Network Banner, Custom Online Now Icon, Custom Friend Space, Custom Navigation Our Tips and Tweaks: Tips and Tweaks are various codes that are entered manually into your profile. This is the section to check out if your through with the beginner stuff, and are ready to customize your profile even further. We've opened up a new Frequently Asked Questions section in the Forum, and have filled it with over 50 new codes. All new codes will be added there in the future, so make sure to check it out. Take me to the FAQ Section - Scrollable Content Areas Scrollable content areas are probably the best invention since the light bulb. They allow you to specify an area that can be filled with any type of content, and then scrolled through. - Customizing your View More Pics Another simple, yet cool looking tweak is to edit the look and feel of your View More Pictures page. Not many people realize that this is achievable, especially with such a small amount of coding. - Rollover Image Filters Image filters are a really neat, impressive feature to throw onto your MySpace. This code allows you to define a certain effect to apply to an image when the mouse is rolled over it. - Basic HTML Help MySpace uses a scripting language called HTML to format and edit most of the content on your Profile. Check out this section to read up on basic codes, like how to add in images, bold your text, and custom links. - Profile Games A great way to keep people entertained on your profile is to put some games on. Seriously, who doesn't like classic games? Pac Man, Duck Hunt, Snake.. You'd be crazy not to like them. - [12/18/05] Custom Cursors - [12/18/05] Catch me on YIM - [12/18/05] Smilies and Icons - [10/22/05] Premade Layouts - MySpace Graphic Help - Dave's Myspace HTML Code - Free Games for MySpace - Games for MySpace - MySpace Layouts - StuffAllFree.com - Free Celeb pics for MySpace - Music Video Codes - MySpace Pranks - Surf Our Space - Free Polls for MySpace 636 Users Onlne This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License --
