Unique meaning they aren't variations of the same skin. Variations count as one skin. No other requirements, not even minimum posts! Official designers get to strut around cB in the "Official Designer" member group, which is shown in the miniprofile of each post. It's cB's way of saying thank you - for contributing and making this community the best one out there! Official designers recieve the same privileges as official members. To become one, once you have 7 unique skins* approved, reply here and list the skins that have been approved. If a moderator believes that it is not fitting, then a moderator CAN delete it. It is fair because just by being official designer, it proves that you are the best of the best. BUT, if a skin is rejected, it's okay! Remember that in the long run it will help you. If the skin is rejected, one can always make it better. And the "wait" really just depends on how fast the moderators can get through the queue. It takes longer if the server is down. As well, there are literally tons of layouts that aren't actual layouts and it would be much faster if people didn't submit layouts with a link rather than codes or if some actually followed the guidelines. There's nothing against website layouts that makes you think they get accepted last or something. The layouts that are submitted first are accepted/rejected first. It's only left there if someone is unsure about it and leaves it to another moderator to choose. It's just that in the recent times, we've been having problems with the server or the uploader. Yeah, it's just Design and Head Staff and admins. Although... any mod (except People) can accept them. Anyway, I'll try to get into the queue more often. I'm getting better about remembering to go through the layouts. Really. I just don't want anyone to become discouraged because there isn't a reason to become discouraged. This is because of a flash virus going around that changes your default profile picture to one of Ali G when you view an infected profile. If you find your profile has been infected, edit your profile in safe mode and delete the Books section, as the flash code that makes it spread is put in there. Then you simply goto your pictures and set your old one back to default. This filter only effects new code entered, so if you already have flash in your profile and you don't want to lose it, then DON'T EDIT YOUR PROFILE. This filter appears to only be temporary until the virus has stopped spreading, so please don't post new topics in the forums about it. See this thread for more details. Edit By Rob - It would seem the entire <embed> tag is now being replaced with <BlockedContent> meaning that absolutely no flash player, or flash movie, or flash game, will work on your profile anymore. Third edit by Rocky It has been pointed out on the forums that the embed tag ISN'T filtered if you put it in the "Companies" section in the "Company Name" field. Although this limits you to where you can put your embeds, at least you can get your playlist on your profile again. Thanks to whoever originally found this out! More - It seems the .swf extension is still being filtered in the Companies section, so you will need to put your flash movie URL into tinyurl or use a similar trick for it to work.
