Does anyone know how to have videos and music play at seperate times following each other on their profile page? I have a movie preview in my "MOVIES" section that I would like to have play first followed by the music listed on my profile. Anybody know how to make this happen? My page is http://www.myspace.com/teezspace. And why have you posted this same question FOUR times? No-ones gonna answer your question quicker when they think you're an idiot. Back to top wolviey2g Posts: 5 Posted: Wednesday 07th December 10:42pm Post subject: Ok, so how do I do this? What do I need to do to get started? I put so many posts because it looks like a lot of posts don't get answered even if they put only one post. Plus I wanted to fit everything in the subject line. I don't deserve to be treated like that though. Just because someone doesn't know or fully understand every little thing about something doesn't make them an idiot. I'm sure there's plenty of things in the world that you CANNOT do to someone else's idea of satisfactory criteria, but they shouldn't knock you for it. If you looked at my page what you described doesn't even help me. That's why I left the URL to my page, so that someone would look at it and be able to help me. I asked how do you play a video and then follow it with a song (not another video) from the Myspace Music selection. So should I start being a prick now to you like you were to me? Why do people have to knock each other down all the time rather than build each other up? Jeez, let me go take out my e-mail address from the original post just so I don't get any hate mail. You didn't search, you posted the same question in 4 new seperate topics, you were given 2 seperate answers that will work, and you still don't get it. What do you want us to do, give you a cookie? Being new to websites has nothing to do with any of this, it's as simple as following instructions. As I said, you can't do what you want with 2 seperate players. But poet4l2002 and I offered you alternatives, they are your only options. Pimp My Page
* Pimp my iBook! * Welcome to Pimp my iBook! Recently inspired by some bold people who have gone before us we have decided to "mod" our ibook. We plan to document the process, and show the results of our "pimped up" ibook. Original Specs White iBook dual USB (late 2001) 500 MHz G3 256 MB RAM (added 128 MB at purchase) 10 GB hard drive Combo drive (CD-RW,DVD-R) ATI RAGE Mobility 128, 8 MB Video-RAM Wireless: Airport "ready" (ie: NO) Exterior: white painted plastic Current Specs "Pimped-up" iBook dual USB 500 MHz G3 256 MB RAM (added 128 MB at purchase) 40 GB hard drive Combo drive (CD-RW,DVD-R) ATI RAGE Mobility 128, 8 MB Video-RAM Wireless: Airport "classic" (IEEE 801.11b) Exterior: white painted plastic History Recent Updates Archives Instructions History I have one of the first white ibooks Apple produced (the "dual USB" from Sept 2001). When "Bianca's" logic board died, and the screen went dark, I thought it would never see use again. But then, oh joy! Apple finally recalled the model, and I recently had a new logic board put in. But what to do with it now? I had already moved up to a newer 12" G4 Powerbook, and I'm in love with "Veronica". Well, my boyfriend and I decided we might as well use her as a desktop, and ftp server, and maybe a fax machine. Not a very exciting life for Bianca, but at least she has been rescued from the trash heap. But as it turns out, Bianca's hard drive is still having some problems and needs to be replaced. We tried to replace it with an extra hard drive (ATA and all that jazz), but as it turns out they come in different heights, and this one was too tall. However, in the process of looking for instructions on how to get the case apart (a REAL challenge), we found a bunch of websites about how to remove the white paint from the inside of the case and repaint, or put (artistic) inserts in to give your ibook a new look. Now, my boyfriend has recently begun to see the "genius" that is Mac OS X after trying to get a wireless card to work in Linux. Oy-vey. So perhaps Bianca has hope for a new life after all! But alas, he HATES the stark whiteness of the ibook. And to be truthful, I always thought the Ti-book was way cooler than the white plastic, and was getting tired of people calling it a "girly" computer, or my "cosmetic case". But what if we can "mod" our ibook? Can Bianca have a new life? So we decided that day we had her all apart and the hard drive didn't fit, yes, we are going to "Pimp our ibook". It will start with a couple of upgrades. Step one will be to get a working hard drive... something a little bigger maybe than the 10 GB she came with. Then maybe a wireless card... that would be nice. But if we are going to take it anywhere, we have to give her a bit of a makeover... paint. A little more RAM would be nice too... she has 256 MB... but now Veronica has 640 MB!? Will there be sibling rivalry?? We also saw a really cool "mod" for a lit up keyboard... probably low on the priority list, but maybe someday? So the plan is to post some pictures, maybe some instructions, or advice on how to "pimp up" your ibook. Hopefully we'll end up with a really unique computer, and maybe inspire some people to personalize their ibooks too. Recent Updates Pimp my iBook project on hold. Don't worry, we plan to continue with our efforts to "pimp my iBook"... but now that "Bianca" has a new 40GB hard drive, and wireless internet, and a fantastic freeware program called "TeXShop" installed, my boyfriend has confiscated her, white "cosmetic case" exterior and all, to write his thesis on. Due to fears of lost data and the like, no changes can be performed. :( 12/02/2005 Ok, so we got the hard drive installed back in November when it finally arrived. Getting the iBook apart is not exactly a "fun-tastic" task, but it is do-able by following the instructions given on PBfixit.com . I have to say as a nerdy science type, seeing my laptop pulled apart in pieces all over our apartment was pretty cool. We did find one mistake/ambiguity in the PBfixit guide, so I've added a comment and pictures about this. In any case, it requires the right tools, and a lot of patience, but not a whole lot of computer know-how, so I think just about anyone (who is out of their apple care warrenty) could do this. The other addition already made, is an aiport card . Also purchased on eBay... but with a much smoother transaction (restoring a little of our faith in eBay, and humanity in general). Installing an airport card is easy as pie, and the instructions for all user installable parts are on the Apple support website 12/02/2005 We've just started the process of getting a working hard drive. We managed to get a 40 GB hard drive off eBay for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, it was being shipped to the wrong address... on the other side of the country... so it will be a little while more before things get going. 31/10/2004 Archives no archives yet Instructions For great instructions on how to take apart and repair various Apple laptops, as well as buy parts: go to PBfixit.com + addendum to hard drive replacement instructions on PBfixit, found a descrepancy while replacing hard drive and posted some comments and pictures Some other cosmetic laptop mods (so you can see what we are trying to do): at applefritter.com created by s. burke ... to my homepage ... to my mac page

Next up: sewing and cake decorating. (gotta be a Renaissance girl, right)Vintage decorating books and old magazines make me week in the knees. Music If it's on vinyl and has a woman in a grass skirt and coconut bra on the cover, I probably have it in my collection. I'm a whore for Hawaiian, ELO and old rock records from thrift stores. I'm also a big fan of independent music. Luckily, New Orleans is full of great bands; I especially like SupaGroup, Rock City Morgue and Pleasure Club. On the not so local front, Juliette Lewis and the Licks, The Charms (Boston) and Broadzilla (Detroit) top the list. Movies I'd like to say I have cool, indie taste in movies but I would be lying. I like the classics: Brain Candy, Monty Python, Xanadu, Better off Dead, Shaun of the Dead, Star Wars (the old ones...), Tease O Rama, Orgy of the Dead, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Logan's Run, old Buck Rogers and Wonder Woman episodes, Flash Gordon (1980).... Television I am the last woman on earth without cable. I have only three channels: Fox, ABC and PBS and that is plenty for me. I actually lived without a television for several years. Most people think I am crazy. Although I admit I watch nothing but HGTV, Discovery and the History Channel when I visit my parents' house. Books I eat books like they are twinkies. My friends say I'm the fastest reader they have ever met. My library card is even starting to get thin in a few places. I read whatever tickles my fancy at the time. A lot of nonfiction: how-tos on home repair and graphic design. I am fascinated by city planning and why people think and act they way they do, so I like 'Asphalt Nation" and 'The Great Good Place." I'm a sucker for vintage books and magazines. I once ran across an excellent bowling photo book from 1955, and "The Encyclopedia of Bad Taste" is a perennial favorite. I also think everyone should read "Bunnicula" and own at least one Ed Emberly How to Draw book. My web site is http://www.pussycatmagazine.com . I recently left behind the 9 to 5 to brave the world as a self-employed writer. Writing is even harder than all the other jobs I've had, and I've had some dooseys. I have worked as a Bourbon Street bartender mixing hurricanes for the drunken masses, a fire-breathing exotic dancer, a graveyeard shift convenience store clerk (robbed at gunpoint, only once ) and salad bar attendant at a Midwestern Ponderosa Steakhouse Buffet. I've driven across country in a 1979 Ford Pinto twice. On the first trip, I was parked outside of the Corn Palace in Mitchell, S.D. Thinking I was pregnant when my period was two weeks late when my boyfriend told me he wanted to have a sex change operation. Life could only get better from there, right? It did. I live in New Orleans, in a 160-year-old house with two cats, one stray and a geeky computer networking engineer. I'm hoping to embark on some new adventures soon.
