I have yet to decide what to do with the comments field. I thought about having the comments displayed blogroll-like down the sidebar with 48 x 48 pixel icons for users. Still mulling over the idea. I plan on releasing the code and stylesheet as soon as I am content with the overall design. Obvious inspiration for colors ala Flock with a blog-esque layout. I’ve done it again. I’ve discovered that MySpace is becoming an ever present topic on this blog. It’s not that I enjoy the service, or that I make use of the service to “network” with other individuals. I just hate the default profiles . So, I’ve started work on the above profile replacement. That’s the actual profile I plan on importing into MySpace. It’s a working page complete with the contacts list and basic MySpace functionality. A few DIV’s here, a little CSS there, and the obvious blue inspiration coming from Flock. I haven’t yet decided if I plan on adding the ‘comments’ field to the bottom of the page. I must admit that this is the first layout that I’ve started from scratch. That means made up classes and an unorganized HTML document. Who really cares though right? Without styling though the whole thing was a giant mess. I had to go through each line to delete the ..’s. They are both band shots. I would like to try and incorporate one of their album covers next time as some of them are really kick ass. You can check it out in the metal wallpaper section Slipknot Myspace Skin 05 Nov 2005 We're trying to get around to beefing up the myspace skins section its just a question of motivation really. There's now a new Slipknot skin along with the Cradle of Filth and In Flames ones up there. We'll probably get another few up there at some stage this month Demonolog Boards 16 Oct 2005 We've just launched message boards for demonolog. There are bound to be a couple of teething problems, if you spot any let us know by posting a message in the Website portion. Some of you will remember that we tried boards ages back and removed them, this was because A) The Message Board System Yabb Sucked Ass B) Demonolog wasn't getting the monster traffic it gets these days Enjoy :) Hotlinking & New Slipknot Wallpaper 09 Oct 2005 Right, finally got around to sorting out all the bandwidth theft going on. Of course i want you all to use the images provided here but there are tons of free image hosting sites out there for you to copy them to. I just can't afford the bandwidth bill anymore seeing as we get over 2000 people a day here and there are currently a couple of hundred sites hotlinking me at the moment. This was James (FutureQ's) fault. He brought this idea. Basically it's just for people that can and wish to contribute more. I am simply out of ideas as to what to offer the higher levels. As James puts it. I offer so much as it is. So, yeah.. for now, it's just a symbol of how much people love the site and wish to keep it going by contributing more. In the future.. maybe they will have some unforseen benefit.
