"Wake up! It is half past ten," yelled Z. "You are soaking in sweat. What in the world were you dreaming about?" "Uh, nothing really," mumbled Perry. "I have to go bathe, and get out of these clothes. My train leaves at 3 today." "Good morning," seductively smiled the Whore, as we shall refer to Marcella now. Perry stared at the Whore, then retreated to the bathroom for a warm shower. As the water drizzled on him, Perry could only think of his dream. Who was Estella, and what did she want from him? Some people believe in the concept of astral worlds and other dimensions that cannot be described using our 5 senses. Supposedly, a soul is encased in several layers, one of which is the human body. After our death, the body is released from the soul, and we become astral beings. While in our human state we need oxygen to survive, in our astral bodies we need the lifetronic force, light, to keep us alive. Light. Astral worlds are nothing like the transient physical world, for they are filled with colors never seen before, and everything is so pure and beautiful. In the astral dimension, beauty is not judged by the way one looks, but rather the radiating love that is present inside of them. The friends and family we had on earth are present in the astral world, thus proving that the power of friendship and unconditional love is eternal. Astral beings are able to penetrate our physical world, but it takes a great amount of energy and time for humans to penetrate theirs. The easiest way for humans to contact astral beings is through dreams. The dead people who appear in our dreams exist; not as humans or anything we can touch or feel. They exist as a thought. It is a consciousness that prevails through space and time. How does one describe the mind and the thoughts we have? How do you quantitatively describe our consciousness? 4. The dream continued bothering Perry. He had come to Sheffield to spend some time with Z, but to his despair, he was no longer with L, and even worse, he was making love every night to the Whore. Z and the Whore walked Perry to the train station. "Goodbye, Z," said Perry in a solemn voice near the station's platform. "It was nice seeing you again," replied Z. "I hope that you will come visit again. Next time you should stay here a little longer than one night. I am hoping to try to find a job in London, so I'll let you know how things turn out." "It was nice meeting you," said Perry to the Whore. "Same here," replied the Whore. Perry got into the train, and realized how many things had changed about himself and about Z. He had always respected Z what he stood for. Here was a boy who taught himself how to play the keyboard and guitar, who had gotten drunk with the local vicar, and who had slept with the perfect girl in school. A boy who was going to be a rock star, scientist, and a politician. He had the ability to change the world- the person who people look up to generations after their death. He could have been the Gandhi, the Beatles, or the Bowie of his time. But now he was relegated to a little flat in Sheffield, working 9 to 6, five days a week for a pharmaceutical company, and living with a whore. I used to know this girl some years back who was the valedictorian of my high school. She lettered in swimming, track, cheerleading, and softball, and she was the county volunteer of the year for 3 years in a row. I used to sit in class and wonder if there were any imperfections in her. She seemed so unreal, yet she was so real. Teachers worshipped her, and she was hailed as the "most likely to succeed" and I was hailed as the "most likely to fail." She got accepted to Princeton University, but she dropped out during the middle of her freshman year after becoming pregnant. I haven't heard from her since, and I doubt that she is contributing to society in a way that people had once expected. I find it unfair of Perry to be disappointed in Z, but at the same time, Z was the leader. When the leader has fallen, and no one has assumed the responsibility of leading the way, the cause perishes. Perry was feeling that the cause had died when Z became ordinary. What hurt Perry and me is that Z had so much potential. He was so intelligent, witty, yet wise, and he had this powerful gaze when he looked at you which made him godlike. Looking into his eyes one could see years of wisdom and the wonderful future that was awaiting us. But like all my heroes, Z failed. Z became real for Perry's senses, and this became too unbearable for Perry to comprehend. 5. The train ride back to London was quite nauseating because the woman next to him was vomiting chunks of chicken in a plastic bag and two little children in the front were crying incessantly. He was trying to get some sleep, and these three idiots were making his life even more miserable than it was. "Hey you fucks," he yelled at the incessantly crying children. "Can't you shut up for a minute?" Petrified, the children retreated into their seats. The passengers next to him were astonished, but no one wanted to say anything for fear of instigating a fight. He had had a miserable week and had contemplated suicide, but he couldn't think of an interesting way to die. His business ventures in Japan and Malaysia had collapsed dramatically in the last week, and two days earlier Sarah, his daughter had just been diagnosed with Wilson's disease. He had spent the weekend in Manchester with Angelina, his mistress of 13 months. "I have been dreaming about you for days," he said. "I have been thinking about you for weeks, and I am glad I am in your arms again." "Do you think about me when you fuck Mary?" she replied. "Does she scream when you rhythmically ride her, and do you scream too, James?" Whenever he made love to Mary, she would scream whenever she had an orgasm, but Angelina never screamed. Screaming for Mary was a way to tell her husband that she loved him, and that he was pleasing her like no other. Angelina didn't scream for she wanted to be in control and power during lovemaking. Screaming is a sign that you are the victim, helpless and powerless. Women who are raped (or hate fucked) are oftentimes said to scream in hopes of grabbing someone's attention to convey that they are in pain and under attack. "Did you orgasm?" he had asked Angelina the night they made love in Brussels. "Why do you ask?" she replied. "You didn't scream," he responded. "You haven't screamed ever since we started making love." "Oh James, every woman is different," she said. "I am not Mary." He had met Mary when they were in business school at NYU. Both of them had grown up in England, James in Liverpool, and Mary in Manchester, but by fortune, or misfortune, they had met at NYU. Three years after graduation they got married in a small church in Manchester, and a year later, Sarah was born. They lived in a small flat in Manchester, about 15 minutes from Mary's parents, but eventually moved into a luxurious house when James started getting promotions at his job. Mary was an extravagant spender, and by the time James became senior executive of his company, Mary was throwing massive parties for so-called friends. "I don't know who you are anymore," he said to her one day. "I don't know the person who I married. You are not real to me anymore. You don't exist in my world." "I hate you James," she replied. "You are always wanting to control me. Well I am a person and I am real." She began to remove her clothes until she stood naked in front of him. "I am real," she cried as she pounded her chest. "Here, feel my tits," she said as she grabbed her breasts. "James, it is real. I exist. I am real, you stupid fuck." I can be contacted at mortigitempo@hotmail.com

Join the Story Of The Year eTeam . Bio : July 2002: St. Louis-bred fivesome Story Of The Year (then known as BigBlue Monkey) hits the stage at the Phoenix, Arizona stop of the Vans Warped Tourin the Peoria Sports Complex. But, theres no real stage rather, the groupis crammed onto a rickety platform thats relegated to a remote corner of thevenue. Although temperatures are well north of 103 degrees and the assembledaudience is largely unfamiliar with the band, Story Of The Year doesnt justplay the songs on the setlist they live for it and deliver. July 2004: Story Of The Year hits the stage of the Vans Warped Tour, though thistime its on decidedly different terms for starters, theyre playing themain stage. Thousands of dedicated fans rush to the front in an effort to gain aglimpse of the group well before the first note is even heard. Precisely as theyddone two years prior, the fivesome doesnt just play the songs on the setlist they live for it and deliver. Its this remarkable consistency thats embedded within the collectivemindset of Story Of The Year. Though theyre musicians first, the band alsotakes time out for a bit of good, sometimes-not-so-clean fun and games. Youcant be serious for too long, says bassist Adam Russell. And its this well-balanced attitude thats worked to the benefit of thegroup, particularly in the success of 2003s near platinum, Maverick debut Page Avenue. The next several months post- Page Avenue s release were filled withwhirlwind blurs of touring stints, both domestic and international, interruptedby mere days of rest. In fact, Story Of The Year wouldnt have a significantbreak from the road until the end of 2004, when it came time to write and recordtheir follow-up to Page Avenue. Writing sessions began almost immediately after the bands touring cycleended. We pretty much got together in the winter and just started working itlike a 40-hour-a-week job, Marsala says. Most of the writing took place atguitarist Ryan Phillips house, whose residence also doubled as the bandspractice studio. With songwriting sessions wrapped up, the band joined forces with veteranproducer Steve Evetts (Snapcase, Hatebreed) to begin tracking their new album.[He recorded] a lot of old records that I grew up listening to, some of myfavorite records of all time, says Marsala of Evetts. Thats one of themain reasons why a bunch of us were like, Yeah, we should talk to this guyand see if hes cool. And the first time we met with him, it was likeinstantly good chemistry. He really knew what we were trying to go for and weall agreed and were on the same page. We felt like we were always a little heavier than [ Page Avenue ]sounded, he adds. Live, we always played heavier than our record actuallysounded, so we wanted to try and capture our live sound on this record. Capturing Story Of The Years stage sonics also meant being physically able toperform on record as the band had done on tour. During initial tracking sessionsfor Josh Wills drums in a Chicago studio, Marsala, Phillips, guitarist PhilipSneed and bassist Adam Russell performed alongside Wills, making sure toincorporate all their stage maneuvers. We did the drums with everyone in the room and we were actually jumping andstuff!, says Marsala. It was really cool, we acted like we were playing ashow. Even Steve was in the room, rockin out with us. And when the drum sessions were complete, Wills made it a point to let everyoneknow. On the last take for the last song on the record, Josh stabbed theheads of drums with his drumstick, pushed his drums over and we were allscreaming, Russell recalls. We were feeling the fire! That same fire blazed its way back to St. Louis, as Story Of The Year continuedits sessions at what became the primary recording studio for the new album Phillips practice room. Its just a big room, so we can run around and sweat in there, saysMarsala. We made it really soundproof and with ProTools now, you can recordanything anywhere. We did guitars, bass and vocals all in our practice room. Itseasier because youre at home, you can spend more time, you dont have todrive anywhere or go anywhere. The band spent plenty of time at their new studio, mostly recording, but attimes, blowing off a little steam with plenty of pranks much like the sortfound on their recent DVD release, Live at the Lou/Bassassins liketossing snap bags at each other. (Dont try this at home!) Phil took off his shirt, and I was throwing handfuls of em at him,Russell says. He was like, Dude, throw two more! I eventually threwlike 15 at his chest and he ended up with all these red marks. We took a bigstraw and started shooting them at each other. Weeks later, Story Of The Year finalized their sophomore Maverick full-length,aptly dubbed In The Wake Of Determination. We were really excited towrite a new record, we knew exactly what we wanted to do, and we knew how wewanted to come across, says Marsala. We were just really determined, so itseemed as if the title worked really well. That was our mindset the entire time. Firing off with the first single, We Dont Care Anymore, In The WakeOf Determination immediately finds Story Of The Year on a full-throttlecourse throughout its dozen tracks. The track offers tight, synchronized guitarriffing interspersed with broad choruses, and according to Marsala is about thepressure of making a second record for a band like us, or just the pressure inanyones life, you know. Having to follow up to your first record, you cantruin what you already had, or else your band will be over. We could worry aboutall these things and have the pressure get to us, or we can do things forourselves, do it the way we want to do it, and just have fun doing it. Five Against The World finds Story Of The Year reflecting on its successand accomplishments over the past couple years. These are good days and wellremember this stuff for the rest of our lives, Marsala says. Were happyto see where weve gone. We never thought wed get as far as we did. Itsjust an awesome thing. As one of the most propulsive tracks on In The Wake Of Determination , Jarheadrecalls the hyper-tempo bursts of the legendary East Coast hardcore scene. Asits title might suggest, Jarhead also points out miscreants whose solepurpose is to cause a commotion. From my whole life of going to shows and over the last few years of playingshows, youd see those guys in the crowd who you could tell arent there forthe music whatsoever, says Marsala. Theyre just there to beat up asmany kids as they can. But its not only about going to shows; its aboutany random, tough guy who thinks hes tougher than any other guy in the world. He takes his aggression out to prove how cool he is. Why are you here? Werehere to have a good time, not to try and fight people. In addition to having a good time, Story Of The Year also has plenty of reasonto celebrate. And looking back at the bands roots as a hard-working,independent operation, Marsala understands just how much the bands hard workand effort has finally paid off. It helps that we were that band that nobody knew and wed try to go aroundand sell our CD, Marsala recalls. Especially on Warped Tour, I see a lotof bands do this now but at the time we were one of the only bands thatwould walk out there and try to put headphones on peoples heads and sell themour CDs. Its good to have that background of working like that, just toappreciate how lucky you are to make it as far as you did. After all, such determination (interspersed with an ounce of good humor) isntjust the story of the year its the story of a lifetime. By taking refuge behind social pretense, and claiming to be victim, Malkin is validating claims that despite her right-wing pedigree, she is in fact an instrument of class/tribal revolt much as her leftist counterparts are. Modern "conservatives" most commonly claim to be a bastion against a cluster of related mentalities, including Marxism and pacifism and rabble revolt, which are propelled by the ego-drama necessary to compensate for lack of superior traits in any form. The undifferentiated crowd will always be slaves to the machine, and they know it, and hate anyone who is not condemned to such a life. While Malkin insists that her "conservative" agenda would reverse this, her agenda in fact supports the very same mass revolt. ANUS activists were determined to prove this. Using a scientifically-calculated mixture of gay pornography, racist innuendos and scatological/morbid humor, ANUS activists deliberately pushed Malkin and her blog maintainers past the tolerance threshold for socially offensive material. At this point, as psychological profiles such as the Stockholm study suggest, Malkin and staff violently reversed their positive outlook into a negative, paranoid one. Victory was achieved with a notice posted on the Malkin blog. "We've had to turn the trackbacks feature off while Michelle is away. There was some nasty porno spam in the trackbacks and some other problems. I believe that Michelle's kind assistants are working on the problem and hope to turn it back on when she returns. I'm sorry for the inconvenience," said the statement, attributed to someone named "Betsy" (probably a bot, since even the conservatives prefer minkier names for their women these days). Chuckling, ANUS activist Iconoclast, back from temporary confinement in the FMP room of the ANUS compound's dank and fetid basement, conjectured about the psychology of Malkin's staff. "I like how they said 'some other problems,'" he said. "When the enemy gets vague, you know they've been forced into hiding something. What they're hiding here is that they're afraid to cross the taboo line and admit that most people are idiots, and that the idea of a Filipina conservative married to a Jew is ludicrous cover for their actual Crowdist activities." ANUS CTO (Chief Trolling Officer) Penisbird voiced his own sympathy for the situation. "People try to distract us with labels and orientations," he said. "The truth is that politics is a question of personal integrity. Those who can lead do so, and the rest form masses to tear those others down because they hate them for being beautiful and smart and capable, and we call this mass revolt 'Crowdism.' Malkin is clearly a Crowdist, no matter what she insists." Apparently, the onslaught of sodomy, feces and burning crosses caused profound psychological change in the fifth columnist "conservative" Crowdist. Dr. Siegfried Freund, a goyish psychologist from Eastern Philadelphia, summed up his conclusion this way: "Burroughs says in Naked Lunch that the greatest hazard for an agent is merging with his cover story. Subversives like Malkin and her Jew penis, Craig Newmark, sublimate their actual intent, but when they're forced up against the thread of Crowd disapproval, they snap back to the fight and in doing so, reverse polarity." Since the assaults began, Malkin's comments have veered away from her traditional reactionary brain-in-a-bucket conservatism and have become increasingly like cocktail party small talk or the rhyming sentiments written in greeting cards. Dr. Freund predicts that within 48 hours she will own a pair of Birkenstocks and support al-Qaeda. In the meantime, ANUS infoterror group chalks up another success for its mixture of politics and antagonism that treats Net publishing the way it was meant to be treated: like a masochistic, incontinent, HIV positive gimp. About ANUS The American Nihilist Underground Society advocates nihilism, or a removal of interpretive layers from our perception of physical reality, as a means of transcending neurotic crowdism and thus achieving adaptive success. It has been online since 1995 and attracts thousands of readers daily with articles about philosophy, politics, music and culture. Every major internet filtering service bans anus.com, and many "anti-hate" organizations decry it as an anti-crowdist site which must be censored and its perpetrators bankrupted. http://www.anus.com/ About Nihilism Nihilism is the belief that nothing we perceive has Absolute value; reality exists, but beyond its inherent meaning to us as the physical container of our existence, it has no significance outside of what we perceive. "The world is my representation," indeed. When we strip away all of the values projected onto physical reality and its outcomes, we are left only with personal ideal and natural ideal, and bringing the former into adaptation with the latter is the lifetime task to which nihilism is a gateway. http://www.nihil.org/ About Michelle Malkin Nationally-syndicated columnist Michelle Malkin began life by slandering liberals for the Los Angeles times, but was quickly promoted when it was discovered that her conservatism infused with leftist core values was a convenient propaganda talking point for the NWO, which supports Crowdist revolt in all its forms as heck, it's good for business. Currently Malkin churns out dreary editorials endorsing the Same Old Failing "Solutions" to problems that never go away, and when she's not busy with that, posts dramatic crap on her blog that people link so they don't have to read it. She is married to Craig Newmark, a fat Jew with one Catholic grandparent. http://michellemalkin.com/ Posted by: thomas | August 22, 2005 "For every terrorist we kill we automatically spawn 10 more?" Indeed, I too would like to see such an equation. But I wont hold my breath. Last time I checked they hadn’t thought up a "political theme" algorithm. Just as the claim of 100,000 dead was an accepted theme (albeit the product of dodgy research) so too is the belief that 10 fascists pop up every time you knock one off. Besides being impossible to verify. It’s also an example of how something can be repeated enough by some so that others assume it to be true. Usually at this point we can start to see who the rationalists are and who are the zealots. The latter will concern themselves with trying to defend the integrity of the theme. The former, realizing if a theme's been accepted once its been accepted a thousand times, wonders what other bit of conventional wisdom has no basis in reality. On a totally seperate note.. When a conservative calls out liberals - that’s slander. And when a Liberal calls out conservatives - That’s bravely speaking truth to power. Ok.. Just wanted to be clear on that one.. Seriously though - What I notice to be the difference between the two in this regard is - while appearing to be equally as pointed - at the end of the day the conservative looks at the smack he was talking about liberals in the context of it being humor. A fun way to make a point and watch a liberal melt down at the same time. On the other hand -Liberals tend to actually believe all the stereotypes they use when talking republican smack. Which isn’t much of an issue.. At least not till election day. When dems are running against a stereotype and the republicans against a person. Why should anyone be surprised when the person running against the stereotype, so to speak, gets his or her ass handed to em by the Republicans? If the dems put the same effort into policy that they put into pandering to each and every identity group - as well as came off as serious about defending the rest of the country as they are about going to the wall for something like Roe v Wade. People might start thinking of them again in terms of a serious alternative or even majority party.
