Indeed, I too would like to see such an equation. But I wont hold my breath. Last time I checked they hadn’t thought up a "political theme" algorithm. Just as the claim of 100,000 dead was an accepted theme (albeit the product of dodgy research) so too is the belief that 10 fascists pop up every time you knock one off. Besides being impossible to verify. It’s also an example of how something can be repeated enough by some so that others assume it to be true. Usually at this point we can start to see who the rationalists are and who are the zealots. The latter will concern themselves with trying to defend the integrity of the theme. The former, realizing if a theme's been accepted once its been accepted a thousand times, wonders what other bit of conventional wisdom has no basis in reality. On a totally seperate note.. When a conservative calls out liberals - that’s slander. And when a Liberal calls out conservatives - That’s bravely speaking truth to power. Ok.. Just wanted to be clear on that one.. Seriously though - What I notice to be the difference between the two in this regard is - while appearing to be equally as pointed - at the end of the day the conservative looks at the smack he was talking about liberals in the context of it being humor. A fun way to make a point and watch a liberal melt down at the same time. On the other hand -Liberals tend to actually believe all the stereotypes they use when talking republican smack. Which isn’t much of an issue.. At least not till election day. When dems are running against a stereotype and the republicans against a person. Why should anyone be surprised when the person running against the stereotype, so to speak, gets his or her ass handed to em by the Republicans? If the dems put the same effort into policy that they put into pandering to each and every identity group - as well as came off as serious about defending the rest of the country as they are about going to the wall for something like Roe v Wade. People might start thinking of them again in terms of a serious alternative or even majority party. Thought I did everything right but it will NOT work.. aware of the TINYURL problem so set in direct souce as well. still won't work..So I'll show you my info and see if you can help..Please I have 256 meg's of space online. I have no problem hosting the player and it's songs from my site..Plenty of bandwidth as well.. I can't get the player to recognize my playlist - To make sure I'm not a dumbass I copied his code and put it on my MySpace... It worked perfectly. I replaced the URL of the playlist with the URL of mine - It showed up but only had one song - Linkin Park... I don't even have Linkin Park in my playlist.xml list. Here is my playlist.xml file - http://gabeshedd.com/myspace/music/playlist.xml I opened both this person's and mine in two seperate tabs and viewed them side by side. Completely identical. I am honestly mind-blown by this... Help. Please. All files are mp3 or WMA .... EDIT-> Okay... I read some other threads on this topic (I didn't think to search for Linkin Park at first) - I uploaded the playlist.xml file to a different server... Still gives me that Linkin Park song. I'm so insanely confused. Where does it get Linkin Park from? There's no link to another playist..
